District billiards in Kandy

Sri Lanka Billiard Association will be organising a District Billiard Tournament at the Kandy Garden Club Billiard parlour from May 26 starting at 4.30 p.m.

This tournament will continue till 31 and the prize distribution will be held under the patronage of Mervyn Jayasinghe, the President of the Billiard Association of Sri Lanka.

According to the Chief Organiser, Faiz Zamad, the President of the District Billiard Association, there will be 27 participants from the district including the last year's champion Sarath Gunathilake from Kandy and runner-up M. Gunathilake from Mawanella. In addition, Ranjan Ranatunge, former all island champion will also be participating.
