CEB bill payments via American express credit card
Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) announced their partnership with
Nations Trust Bank, whereby all electricity bill payments may be made
exclusively via the American Express(r) Credit Card.

This is the first time the CEB has permitted the usage of a credit
card to facilitate utility bill payments, and American Express(r) has
the distinct privilege of being the only Credit Card that is accepted by
the Ceylon Electricity Board.
Deputy CEO Nations Trust Bank PLC Iftikar Ahamed, speaking at the
ceremony added," This partnership is of immense value to us and we are
indeed delighted in being the first and only credit card accepted at the
Ceylon Electricity Board."
Speaking at the ceremony Chairman Ceylon Electricity Board, Udaya Sri
Kariyawasam said that they happy to partner Nations Trust Bank through
their American Express Credit Card in adding convenience to their
consumers.
Bill payments are now accepted at the CEB Head Office located at Sir
Chittampalam Gadiner Mw, Colombo 01 and will be available island-wide
very soon.
American Express Credit Cardmembers also have the flexibility of
adding their Ceylon Electricity Board monthly bill payments to the
Automatic Bill Settlement facility which will be available shortly. |
