Defending champs Samoa down Sri Lanka 35-7

Defending champions Samoa helped by a hat-trick of tries by prop forward Alafoti Faosiliva scored a resounding 35 points (five goals) to 7 (one goal) win over Sri Lanka in a Pool ‘B’ match of the Hong Kong International Rugby Sevens played at the Hong Kong Rugby Stadium on Friday.

The Sri Lankan cricketers delighted with their first ever victory on Caribbean soil when they beat the West Indies in the First Digicel Test at the Providence Stadium in Guyana flew into Tobago to begin a three day practice game in preparation for the Second Test at the Queen’s Park Oval in Trinidad from April 3.
