Butterfly Table Tennis Club and Lake House Sports Club emerged men's and women's team champions at the Veterans Inter Club League Table Tennis Tournament worked off at the Race Course Hall, Reid Avenue, Colombo, recently. The tournament was conducted by the Veterans Table

Tennis Association of Sri Lanka. Butterfly TT club comprising Lalith Priyantha, Fikri Fauz and C.K. Siriwardane beat Veterans silver team quite convincingly by 3 matches to 1 in the men's final. For runners up team Fida Hussain, S.S. de Silva, D M. Banula, N.H. Perera, H. Gamage were the players. In the women's final Lake House sports club beat Simcap by 3 matches to 1 to bag the title. The winning Team consisted Namal Gunesekera, Champa De Silva while Amara Chandrathilake, Nilmini Swarnakanthi and Pushpa Colombathanthri were the members of the loosing team.

Meanwhile, The All Island Open Veterans Table Tennis Championships conducted by the Veterans Table Tennis Association of Sri Lanka will be held at the race course hall on March 16. The entries will be closed on March 14.
