The secrets of Secret Service

The fourth part of the serialisation of the book ‘Conflict Resolution
Lessons for Sri Lanka’. The third part was published on March 7.
During the same time, the Western Secret Services infiltrated China
and created NGOs as they normally say in the name of democracy and
freedom.
Most of these NGOs were led by students and the youth. Probably these
students were unaware as to who were behind these and who financed them.
Gorbachev was to visit China in 1989. These NGOs organised a huge rally
in Tiananmen Square.
This huge rally was organised to call for freedom and democracy in
China. Its real purpose was to overthrow the Government of China which
would have resulted in the installation of a puppet government and the
dismemberment of China.
Strong action
The Chinese government saw through the design and reacted with strong
action in the course of which a large number of students got killed.
These students may have been unaware that they were pawns in the hands
of Western Imperialists. If this uprising succeeded and the government
was overthrown, the Western Imperialists may have done to China in 1989
what they did to the Soviet Union in 1991.
The western propaganda machine referred to the Tiananmen Square
episode for many years during its anniversary for the purpose of
discrediting the Chinese Government. The idea of the Western
Imperialists was to Balkanize China. This was thwarted by the Chinese
government.
In the late 1980s and the 1990s, the Secret Services of the Western
Imperialist Secret Services were able to create unrest in the Soviet
Union. As a result, there was unrest in the politburo of the Soviet
Communist Party. When Gorbachev went on a holiday to Sochi, some of
these elements in Sochi kept him under house arrest. After a few days he
was released and he returned to Moscow.
There was turbulence in the country. Utilizing this turbulence, Boris
Yeltsin who obviously had been an agent of Western Powers together with
some elements of the army, seized power. He did it by shelling the Duma
(Parliament) while it was in session.
This was an act of treason. Gorbachev, who was Head of State should
have arrested Yeltsin and charged him for treason. But he did not do
that and history will hold him responsible for that.
Borris Yeltsin who was a drunken traitor, soon after carried out
instructions given by the western masters. The Western Powers were most
interested in destroying the Soviet Union. He dissolved the Soviet Union
immediately on assumption of power. The Soviet Union consisted of
fourteen Republics.
The decision to dissolve the Soviet Union was approved by only two
Republics - Russian and Ukranian. The other 12 Assemblies of the
Republics did not approve of the dissolution. Nevertheless, Yeltsin
dissolved the Soviet Union.
This was his first implementation of the orders he got. He then
reintroduced Capitalism and handed over state assets to his cornies and
stooges. These cronies and stooges could not have bought these assets
because they were not capitalists who could have purchased them.
The Russian people as a result were made paupers. It is only under
Vladimir Putin that Russia has been able to gain dignity as a World
Power. The only country that was able to stand up against US hegemony
was the Soviet Union. Any country standing against the US was subjected
to economic or political pressure, destabilisation or regime change.
The Soviet Union had enough nuclear weapons and delivery systems to
destroy the US if it attacked them. In these circumstances, to subvert
the Soviet Union from inside, various governments with diverse interests
united to destroy the Soviet Union. This was of adverse interest to the
Third World countries. The part played by Mao Tse tung in this matter
was odious.
Resources
In addition to destroying the Soviet Union, Western Imperialists were
keen to lay their hands on the oil in places such as Kazakhastan etc.
These southern Republics had large resources of oil and gas. Americans
have now built a pipeline bypassing Russia to Turkey.
The instances cited above clearly illustrate as to how useful the
NGOs were in achieving the strategic objectives of the USA.
The Role of the Secret Services
The input made by the Secret Services into the deliberations made by
the Government functionaries especially of the World Powers is not
known. The advice given by the Secret Services may be of critical
importance in ensuring solutions. In time of war information of vital
importance may lead to victory. When peace prevail, it can have far
reaching repercussions.
Equal
I can do no better than quote the words of Winston Churchill, the
high priest of British Imperialism.
“In the high ranks of the British Secret Services the actual facts
that surfaced in many cases were in every respect were equal to the most
fantastic inventions of romance and melodrama.
Tangle within tangle, plot and counter plot, ruse and treachery,
cross and double cross, true agent, false agent and double agent, gold
and steel, the bomb and the dagger and the firing party were inter woven
in many a texture so intricate as to be incredible and yet true. The
Chief and the High Officers of the Secret Service revelled in these
subterranean labyrinths and pursued their task with cold and silent
passion.”
During the Second World War, the leader of Britain Winston Churchill,
the leader of the Soviet Union Stalin and the leader of U.S.A.
Roosevelt, met in Tehran in 1943 and held an important conference. At
this conference Churchill told Stalin “the truth is so precious that it
must be protected by a bodyguard of lies.”
When Churchill was making this statement, he was referring to many
deception plans that they were making.
This was in order to deceive the Germans as to the time and place
where they were to land in Europe in order to liberate Europe. This was
an enormous Secret Service plan which successfully deceived the Germans
and was greatly instrumental in the successful landing of the forces in
Europe at that time.
In order to explain the activities of the Secret Services, I wish to
give a few illustrations.
One of the greatest engagements in navel history was the Battle of
Trafalgar. In this battle, the British Navy engaged the Sanish Armanda
and defeated them conclusively in October 1605. This victory established
Britain as a leading power and consolidated British supremacy in the
seas, which lasted over a century.
This supremacy of the British Navy enabled them to establish a
British Empire spread out all over. The Admiral who led the battle Lord
Nelson is an icon of the British people even today. To achieve this
victory, a great deal of Secret Service information was provided to the
authorities by the Secret Service.
The movements and the strength of the Spanish Amanda were conveyed to
the Naval authorities by the Secret Service. There is more information
on this in the book “History of the British Secret Service” by Richard
Deacon.
Facts
These facts about the contribution of the Secret Services which is of
vital importance are not written in history books. Why is it so? It is
because Secret Service activities are carried out in secret, in stealth
and under cover. The heroes of these Services are not known to the
public. Similarly, I wish to bring to your notice a few other instances
where the role of the Secret Service resulted in important victories for
those countries. The First World War started in 1914.
The British and the French were engaged in battle in France and were
suffering heavy casualties, with the death of thousands of young men.
The British were able to crack the German diplomatic code.
The Americans had annexed the states of Texas, Arizona, and New
Mexico to the United States in 1850. The German Foreign Minister
Zimmerman in a telegram sent to the Mexican government stated that if
they align with the Germans they would regain the above three states.
Success
The British, who intercepted the telegram, and broke the code passed
the information to the United States. The Americans as a consequence,
entered the War on the side of the allies. Upto that time the War was a
stalemate. This success of the Secret Service had epochal consequences
to the world. The allies won the war as a result of the Americans
entering the War. The Ottoman Empire and the Austro-Hungarian Empire
ceased to exist and the Germans lost the colonies.
Similarly, in the Second World War which started in 1939, Britain and
France were fighting Germany. Till 1941, Britain was fighting a lone war
after the fall of France in 1940. All the British supplies had to be
brought by ship including food and raw materials. The President of the
USA was supporting the British war effort. But the efforts of the
President were blocked to certain extent by the Senate.
The German Secret Services had infiltrated the U.S.A. and were
carrying out propaganda to the effect that America should not get
involved in European Wars. This campaign was successful and America did
not declare war on Germany.
Hitler declared war on USA in 1941, after Japan successfully attacked
the USA on the 7th December 1941. Churchill sent a very able agent,
William Stevension to carry on the Secret War on behalf of Britain in
the USA. It was his efforts that enabled supplies from America to reach
Britain during the crucial period, of 1941-1942.
If supplies did not reach Britain during this period, the British
Government would have had to evacuate to Canada. And Britain would have
been occupied by the Germans. The spy ring that enabled Britain to be
supplied with information during this period was headed by William
Stevenson, whose code name was Interpid.
This spy ring enabled Roosvelt to supply Britain with essential
goods, which enabled Britain to survive. There are many books written on
this subject.
The names of the great agents are unknown to the public.
As to how the Americans broke the Japanese code is explained in the
book “The Broken Seal”. And the methods the German Secret Services used
to carry out their spying in the USA and financed the opponents of
Roosevelt in the Presidential election in 1940 is contained in the book
“The Game of the Foxes” by Ladislas Farago. There is more information on
this in the book “The CIA And The Cult Of Intelligence” by Victor
Marchetti and D. Marks.
The book “Veil” by Bob Woodward, illustrates as to how the CIA was
carrying covert operations to destabilise and affect regime changes.
A vivid example of the operations of the Secret Service is the
history of our own country. The British Secret Service operating under
the direction of Sir John D’Oly was able to successfully obtain the
loyalty of the Kandyan chieftains. When the British armies marched into
Kandy in 1815, not one shot was fired in defense of our country. The
British had launched a systematic propaganda before their final assault
on the Kandyan Kingdom.
Horror stories
Merchants from coastal areas and spies disguised as monks spread
horror stories in the kingdom about the tyranny of their king. Together
with the disgruntled chieftains, the British were able to take over the
kingdom without a shot being fired. They were able to take over our
country in the guise of saviours. This is a lesson for the present
generation.
A similar situation is seen today. Foreigners are attempting to
follow the acts of the British of many centuries ago.
Fortunately for us, we are not of great strategic importance for the
Western Powers. I am referring to these instances to illustrate as to
how foreign funded NGOs act as mere blips in their foreign operations.
If we were of more importance the foreign Secret Services would be more
active in our country.
The Chinese have banned NGOs excepting those dealing with the
environment. The Russian Government is considering banning all NGOs.
But if our government bans foreign NGOs we will be subject to great
foreign pressure. Under such circumstances, the activities of NGO should
be closely monitored.
To be continued. |
