'Security 360 Degrees' from Singapore Informatics launched
Singapore Informatics the pioneers in introducing IT / Network
Security education to Sri Lanka, are proud to announce the launching of
the Security 360 degrees - the 'ultimate' network security programme, in
Sri Lanka.
An information Security Specialist must know how to use the tools,
tricks and techniques to implement a network defence. Only with this
knowledge we can honestly expect someone to be able to properly defend
the system and network against hackers and also to detect if an
intrusion has occurred, a press release states.
Intrusion and Network Forensic employ the same rigorous standards and
procedures as computer forensics. Both disciplines seek to facilitate
the recovery, analysis, and presentation of computers, computer system,
and networks suspected of having been compromised or accessed in
unauthorised fashion by internal or external intruders.
Such unauthorised entrance into the network environment violates the
integrity, confidentiality, and availability of the system and
jeopardises the ability of the business or public agency to function.
Design to compliment Incidence Response (which is focused on how to
protect the system from future possible damage), Intrusion and network
Forensic Focused on identifying the circumstances and agents behind the
unauthorised access, in some cases leading to criminal or civil
prosecution, the release states.
The purpose of this workshop is to give end users hands on training
on how to access their own security posture for their organization. This
workshop will also identify weaknesses of current security products and
software's ranging from Microsoft platforms and also other operating
system.
There would be also a forensic investigation training included in
this workshop. the tools that would be explained are exploit codes from
major hacker community and the vulnerabilities that are current and
latest threats it further states. |
