HNB, John Keells record wins

HNB 'A' & John Keells 'A' after two successive defeats chalked up their first wins in the ongoing 15th Singer - MCA Premier League, continued yesterday. An unbeaten 72 runs by Chinthaka Jayasinghe gave HNB 'A' a convincing 70-run win over Ceylinco 'A' while a captains knock of 76 runs by Dilshan Witharana guided J. Keells 'A' to a resounding 96 run win over Seylan Bank 'A'.

In the other game, Unichela registered their second successive win beating Nawaloka by four runs.
