Lankans beat Lebanon

Sri Lanka beat Lebanon 2-1 in the International Tennis Federation under 14 World Junior Team Championship which began Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia yesterday. This Asia Oceania Pre-Qualifying tournament will be continued till March 1.

Sharmal Dissanayake gave a fine display to win both matches. Today Sri Lanka will take on Kazakastan and will meet Singapore tomorrow.

The girls squad has already qualified to play for the final qualifying round scheduled for the 21st to 27th April in China.
