Odel has been featured in the world's leading retail magazine, Retail
Ad World for the store's fashionable concept in traditional couture the
Sari Bar. This US-based magazine showcases trend-setting global brands
and stores engaged in the world's best retail advertising, marketing and
promotions campaigns.
The Sari Bar - ODEL's unique innovation in retail design - features a
stunning range of haute couture from big-ticket Indian designers like
Tarun Tahiliani, Malini Ramani and Ravi Bajaj to the very affordable
ranges with hand picked and exclusive designs.
To launch this stylish new Bar concept, a glamorous and innovative
communications campaign, titled "Six Yards of Attitude", was unveiled in
early 2007, and featured models draped in flowing saris and set in
highly unconventional situations such as walking the dog, playing with a
baby, and singing on stage.
