Richard Pieris launches Arpi-3

Richard Pieris Tyre Company, a growing subsidiary of RPC recently introduced a new three-wheeler tyre under the brand name 'Arpi-3' to the local market.


General Manager: Richard Pieris Tyre Company Pushpika Janadheera handing over the first consignment of Arpi-3 tyres to Lalith Kasturiarachchi of Gishan Enterprises, Colombo.

Richard Pieris Tyre Company, General Manager Pushpika Janadheera said "The Arpi-3 tyre is produced using the newest technology in the industry and in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility under the management and supervision of well trained Richard Pieris Tyre Company staff.

We also go into stringent supervision when sourcing raw material in order to deliver a high quality, long lasting product and the tyres are released to the market only after a special validation of standards by our company's quality assurance staff.

As a result of our rigorous research and development and quality assurance systems, we have managed to introduce a new three-wheeler tyre to the market which is guaranteed to do more miles, carry more weight and last for a longer period of time.

Released to the market under the tag line 'Partner of a Safe Journey', Arpi-3 tyre is definitely going to reduce costs our three-wheeler drivers have to bear in these trying times, thus adding value to the customers' purchase decision."

Richard Pieris Tyre Company which is the pioneer that introduced tyre retreading to Sri Lanka is also the undisputed market leader in the Island for retread tyres, related products and accessories.

As a result of being vigilant to changing consumer needs, continuous research and development and thorough market analysis the Company has managed to be a leader, introducing new products to the market and catering to ever changing and diverse needs of customers.

In addition to the 50,000 plus retread tyres issued to the market every month, Richard Pieris Tyre Company is also the sole importer & distributor of the world renowned 'Birla' heavy vehicle tyres in Sri Lanka. Horizon Tyres, Arpico tubes, flaps and batteries also complement the product portfolio.

The newly introduced Arpi-3 tyre will be freely available with the 1300 strong dealer network of the Company; distributed from go-downs in Colombo, Kandy, Matara, Kurunegala, Polonnaruwa and Trincomalee.

Richard Pieris Tyre business was established in 1940's, and it pioneered retreading of tyres in Sri Lanka by supplying conventional rebuilds to the market and at present commands more than over 40% share of the local market.
