Digital House opens branch in Kurunegala

The sole distributor for Mercury Brand Computers and computer PeriPherak in Sri Lanka opened a new branch at Kurunegala recently.

A dealers conference was held at Bright Bravo Hotel in Kurunegala prior to this event.

The conference was presided by General Manager of Digital House Private Limited, B.O.S. Amarasekara.

Director of the Digital House, Iham Sanoon said, the main brand name Mercury is not a new range of products to the Kurunegala market. “We have been present in Kurunegala for over five years through our distributors net work,” he said.

He also said the new branch will offer more benefits. “With a better vision of providing the consumers with maximum of the technological product ranges along with an excellent service through our branch and our valued dealers we opened the branch,” he said.

Amarasekara said the company started with three employees in 1993. “Today we have a group of companies and have the highest number of dealers. We also have 450 active distributors in every corner of Sri Lanka,” he added.

Branch Manager Lalith Lankanayake said Digital House caters to everybody through their leading brand “Mercury” and represent some of the most leading brand names such as Intel, AMD, Xplore, Kingston, HP, Panda, Antivirus etc.

“We are looking forward to serve the Kurunegala ICT market with the latest products with competitive prices. We will also facilitate the end users with easy payment schemes in purchasing computers which can be paid back in four years,” he added.

The oldest employee of the company Rasmi said, Mercury Kare Private Limited is Sri Lanka’s first chip level repairing facility for ICT products to be opened in Kurunegala.
