Adampan falls to Security Forces
The last village in Adampan under LTTE control
fell to the Security Forces following heavy fighting in the Wanni
last morning. The Security Forces destroyed 16 Tiger bunkers and
killed 22 LTTE cadres in two separate confrontations.

The Police seized C4 explosives and detonators
from a vehicle attached to the World Health Organisation (WHO) on
Monday evening at Thekkawatte check point in Vavuniya.
