Standard Chartered, Keells make credit card payment easy

Standard Chartered Bank Sri Lanka expanded its Credit Card payment acceptance points to include all Keells Super outlets islandwide.

“Standard Chartered Credit Cardholders can now settle their Credit Card bill while shopping at Keells Super.

This is yet another initiative in providing convenience to our customers and we are glad that Keells Super has partnered us in this,” said Head of Credit Cards, Standard Chartered Bank Sheahan Arasaratnam, while speaking on the alliance.

“Our quest is to provide greater convenience to our valued shoppers and we are happy to accept Standard Chartered credit payments throughout our chain,” added De Silva of John Keells Group.

Standard Chartered Bank Credit Card Payments made at Keells Super outlets before 3.00 p.m. on a bank working day will be credited to customer Credit Card Accounts by 6.00 p.m. on the same day.

Payments made after 3.00 p.m. on a bank working day will be credited on the following bank working day by 6.00 p.m. Payments made on a bank holiday will be credited on the following working day by 6.00 p.m.

A nominal fee will be charged as handling fee. Other payment channels such as Standard Chartered ATMs also allow customers to deposit cash or cheques to Credit Card accounts.

Cheques or cash can also be deposited at any of the cheque/cash deposit boxes at the Standard Chartered Bank branches, as well as through Commercial Bank branches and all MiniCom Centres island-wide.

A nominal fee will be charged as handling fee for credit card payments made via the Commercial Bank network.
