SIM University scholarships

Channel News Asia: Providing wider access to educational opportunities. this is what the SIM University (UniSIM) intends to do by pledging a million dollars for its range of scholarship awards this year.

Among the 33 award recipients for the first semester is Ven. Sumana Thera from Sri Lanka.

UniSIM has committed some S$ 1.8 million to its Financial Aids Scheme to date which has benefited some 107 students. The awards are given out twice a year in January and July. UniSIM is the first privately-funded local university in Singapore with an enrolment of some 8,000 students.
