Tiger military, arms storage destroyed

Air Force fighter jets pounded an LTTE military and arms storage yesterday morning in Wallipuram, north of Puthukkudiyiruppu causing heavy damages to the LTTE detachment, Air Force Spokesman Wing Commander Andrew Wijesooriya said.

Fighter jets carried out the air strike yesterday around 10.45 a.m. targeting an LTTE military and arms detachment where the Tiger cadres were supplying military hardware and equipment to their outfit, he said.
