Tamilselvan not a peace negotiator - Kohona

LTTE Political Wing leader S. Tamilselvan, killed in a Sri Lankan air attack, may have been the Tiger spokesman, but he certainly was not a peace negotiator, Foreign Secretary Palitha Kohona said in New Delhi. "He (Tamilselvan) might have been the mouthpiece but certainly not a peace negotiator," Kohona told NDTV.

"Tamilselvan happened to be where he happened to be on that day and we were taking out targets as and when they became vulnerable," he said.

Kohona refused to comment on seeking military aid from India. "Sensitivity is involved in the issue, we should not go into it," he said.
