Laugfs Holdings Limited has diversified its business to property
development. "We have invested Rs. 515 million on our new project
"Havelock Haven" by our new venture Laugfs Property Developers (Pvt)
Ltd. This project mainly caters to people who are looking for a relaxed
healthy life in this busy world," Chairman, Laugfs Holding Limited,
W.K.H. Wegapitiya said at a press conference held yesterday.
He said the construction work can be completed in July 2009 as
planned. Havelock Haven consists of 40 apartments in five designs namely
Fantasia, Allegro, Symphony, Largo and Aria. Fantasia is built on a
smaller area compared to the other designs.
These apartments will cost from Rs. 18 million upwards. This will be
an eight-floor condominium project and the prices will rise on the basis
of the ascending range of the floors.
This will be due to the view from the apartment, he said.
Laugfs Holdings will be diversifying its business to salt
manufacturing and lubricants in the future. The Chairman said the
company will be continuing the property development business through
Laugfs Property Developers (Pvt) Ltd.
