Carson Cumberbatch to host annual convention for Undergraduates

Carson Cumberbatch, Sri Lanka's foremost diversified conglomerate will hold its second consecutive Annual Convention of Undergraduates on the 12th of December 2007 at the Galadari Hotel, Colombo.

The theme for this year's workshop is the "Importance of Developing Global Competencies" and the company has invited a select panel of speakers and eminent resource personnel to share their expertise and insights with the students.

Respected academics from the National Universities, representatives of local and international Chambers and over 700 students are expected to attend the event.

Following this event, Carson Cumberbatch will organize a series of workshops in collaboration with the respective Career Guidance Units of National Universities.

These workshops will act as a platform to build awareness among the students about the importance of developing crucial behavioural and interactive skills and will also provide them with an opportunity to interact and build networks with other undergraduates from various parts of the island including the North and East.
