Conqueror wins Business Super Brand status

Conqueror was recently declared a Business Super Brand in the Paper Category by the Super Brands Council, Sri Lanka. Superbrands is a UK-based independent authority on branding, which promotes the discipline of branding and pays tribute to exceptional brands all over the world.

The Business Super Brands programme recognises businesses which are "involved in marketing products and services to other businesses based on quality, reliability and distinction". Chairman of Papyrus Papers Ashan Abeyesundere, which represents Conqueror in Sri Lanka, said that Conqueror has long been recognised as setting the gold standard for business stationery.

"For over five decades Conqueror has been the preferred choice of the vast majority of Sri Lankan users, both corporate, industrial and domestic. This honour undoubtedly adds greater value to the product and justifies the rapidly growing demand for Conqueror in Sri Lanka".

"Conqueror is one of the few paper brands requested by name and although it remains most synonymous with quality business stationery, a wide variety of modern day usages continue to prove that Conqueror has the solution, whatever the application", Abeyesundere added.

"In recent years, Conqueror has been successfully extended into applications such as brochures, reports, advertising and promotional materials, packaging and labelling by image conscious companies in nearly 120 countries around the world and this includes Sri Lanka too", Managing Director Michelle Abeyesundere said.

Throughout its 119 year old history, Conqueror has pre-empted the demands of the market, embraced change, and in doing so has moved successfully from the era of pen and ink, through the advent of typewriters to the sophisticated world of multiple print technologies and digital communications.
