BoC team visits Mahaweli zone

A team of high ranking officials from the Bank of Ceylon (BoC) recently visited the Mahaweli B and C zones with a marketing promotion initiative.

The team participated in programmes implemented in the Mahaweli areas of Aralaganwila, Dehiaththakandiya and Girandurukotte, meeting local BoC officials and clients of the area.

At a function in the Mahaweli zone, some of the team members, chairman, BoC Dr. Gamini Wickramasinghe, and Development Banks C. Samarasinghe, Deputy General Manager met the Minister for Planning P. Dayaratna who is also an Ampara District parliamentarian.

They discussed about rural economic development and banking in the Mahaweli areas.

The programme was held recently.
