Murali and Sangakkara - the star attractions

Muttiah Muralitharan, former Antonian cricketer and Kumar Sangakkara, former Trinity cricketer will be the main attractions of the Sri Lanka Test team in the first Test match to be played with England from December 1 to 5.

Muralitharan has to take five more wickets to beat Shane Warne's world record of 708 wickets. Kumar Sangakkara with his knock of 192 runs in the second Test match against Australia, has become third in the world's Test batting rankings.

If rain does not interrupt there will be a record crowd to witness the Test match at Asgiriya.
