Best provincial office from Sabaragamuwa

Sabaragamuwa Provincial Chief Secretary's Office won the first place at the best provincial office contest of National Productivity and Quality Awards Ceremony 2006 at the BMICH recently.

This competition is organised annually by the National productivity secretariat. The best school in Sabaragamuwa Province is Wellandura Gajanayaka Vidyalaya in Ratnapura District, while second and third places were won by Swarnajayanthi Maha Vidyalaya in Kegalle and Karangoda Maha Vidyalaya in Ratnapura.

The best productivity award for the best Ministry in the Sabaragamuwa Province was won by the Ministry of Health Services.
