Jobs for Tharuna Aruna graduates

All graduates who underwent training under the Tharuna Aruna programme will be offered permanent Government jobs with effect from January 1 next year.

This follows a decision taken by the Cabinet at a meeting held recently.

Accordingly, 2088 graduates who have completed training under the stage three of the Tharuna Aruna programme would be recruited for the Provincial Government Service under the purview of Provincial Councils except the Western and Wayamba Provincial Councils.

The Co-ordination of this programme has been entrusted to the State Management Service Department and the lists of trained graduates would be issued to relevant Provincial Councils before the end of this month for granting appointments, the release said.
