CRICKET: St. Joseph's College piled up a massive 328 for 9 as they
took major honours in their inter school cricket tournament opening
match against Thurstan College which ended in a draw at Thurstan College
grounds yesterday.

Sebastianites struggle
St. Sebastian's College, Moratuwa were struggling at 86 for 6 in
reply to D. S. Senanayake's first innings total of 186 runs on the
opening day of their inter school cricket tournament match which began
at Wijerama Mawatha yesterday.

A fine spell of bowling from C. Manoj (5 for 49) helped Sri Lanka Air
Force SC dismiss Lankan CC for 232 runs in their first innings on the
opening day of their SLC under 23 division two cricket tournament final
played at the BRC grounds in Havelock Park .
