People's Voices news bears fruit

This refers to the People's Voice news item titled 'Over to you Post Master General' published on August 8, regarding the post boxes with broken lockers in the Ratmalana area.

We, the Department of Posts wish to inform the public, under the supervision of concerned local authority, the said post boxes in Sirimal Uyana, in front of Bank of Ceylon Ratmalana are being repaired with new lockers and painted as well.

Meanwhile we are planning to instal a new postal box near Sama Mandiraya and have made the necessary arrangements to repair all the post boxes in the Mt. Lavinia area.
