Sunsilk Negombo workshop a success

a workshop called Sunsilk
Hadakari at the Maristella College in Negombo last weekend.
It was the first of ten Hadakari (Beauty) regional workshops.
Other workshops will take place around the country every fortnight
over the next five months. The workshops will also be held in Galle,
Balangoda, Badulla, Kuliyapitiya, Dehiattakandiya, Polonnaruwa, Kandy,
Kalutara and Maharagama.
Negombo Hadakari workshop was filled with hundreds of hair care
professionals, trainees and sunsilk consumers. There, they had the
benefit of witnessing live how a hair cut is done properly.
PHABA professionals provided consumer tips and advice on product
usage, hair styles and hair cutting. Veteran hair dressers like Lal
Weerasinghe, Ramani Fernando, Premasri Hewawasam, Nadeesha Weerasinghe,
and Sheela

Fernando were present. Lal Weerasinghe's usage of Axe Razor,
was something new to the country.
Axe Razor is an axe like tiny blade that shapes and cuts hair.
Speaking of the partnership with the hair care expert Sunsilk Lal
Weerasinghe, President of PHABA said that they were happy to be
associated with a partner like Sunsilk, for the second year, in its
drive to bring proper knowledge on hair care from the urban town centres
to the rural masses.
"We believe that by educating the hair care professionals and
consumers we would be able to create more awareness and a good service,"
he said.
Brand Manager for Sunsilk Anjali de Silva said the objective of
Sunsilk Hadakari is to identify and nurture the talent of hair care
professionals. |
