No one should be allowed to topple Govt. - JVP leader

COLOMBO: A Government elected with a clear mandate has every right to
defeat all sorts of conspiracies to topple it, JVP leader Somawansha
Amarasinghe said yesterday.
The Government led by President Mahinda Rajapaksa has every right to
take legal action against the parties who are trying to topple his
Government, Somawansha Amarasinghe said adding that no one should be
allowed to topple the Government.
Addressing press conference yesterday at the Sri Lanka Foundation
Institute in Colombo, the JVP leader said everyone should take the
correct decision at the correct time and should be vigilant about the
conspirators.
He said the JVP is alarming President Mahinda Rajapaksa about the
current political situation in the country. He warned that the
Government will have to face a serious situation if it did not take
prompt action to defeat the forces trying to topple it.
He added that those who supported the Government has already left it
due to the decision taken by it. JVP General Secretary Tilvyn Silva and
JVP MP K.D. Lal Kantha also addressed the press conference.
