Ian leads Invitation XI against Bangladesh

CRICKET: Opening batsman Ian Daniel will captain the Sri Lanka Invitation XI against the touring Bangladesh team in their one day practice match at the Colts Cricket Club ground in Havelock Park today.

This will be the only warm up game for Bangladesh ahead of the three match one day International series against Sri Lanka which begins on Friday at the P. Saravanamuttu Stadium.

The Sri Lanka Invitation IX (from): Ian Daniel (captain), Viraj Perera, Tharanga Paranavithana, Harsha Vithana, Chanaka Wijesinghe, Gihan De Silva (W/K), Angelo Mathews, B A W Mendis, Chanaka Komasaru, Nuwan Kulasekera, Sujeewa Silva, Nadeera Nawela, Milinda Siriwardane and Shaminda Eranga.
