GONAWALA:These two sisters U.L.D. Purvi Nihansa, 10 and U.L.D. Nilukshika Dilhari, 05 of 190/2 Pattiwila Gonawala Kelaniya are suffering from profound hearing loss. Doctors have recommended a cochlear implant to restore their hearing and enable them to hear and speak after rehabilitation. According to ENT Surgeon Dr. T.R.C. Ruberu each surgery will cost Rs. 2,650 000.

Their father Niranjan Liyanage says he is unable to foot this bill due to his present financial plight and seek public assistance.

Contributions to assist his children’s cause should be remitted to Account Number 055200186528374 at the Peoples Bank, Dalugama Branch.

BELIATTA:W. P. G. Chanmin Hasaranga Jayawardena 5, of Linarawatta, Owilana, Beliatta has been diagnosed with hearing defect and recommended a cochlear Implant to restore his hearing. This surgery is estimated to cost Rs. 2,800,000.

Child’s Mother W. Swarna Malini says Rs. 2,000,000 including Rs. 300,000 received from the Presidents Fund has been deposited in the child’s name in a Bank account, she is unable to find the balance Rs. 800,000 needed for the operation due to her family’s present financial plight. She requests the public to assist his child’s cause by sending whatever financial contributions possible to help expedite the surgery.

Contributions should be remitted to Account Number 244-200155521639 at the People’s Bank Beliatte Branch.

Ahangama : H. B. Nuwanthi Priyanjala of Railway Quarters, Munidasa Mawatha Ahangama, a grade 8 student of Galle Sariputta Vidyalaya is suffering from a deformity in her spine scoliosis.

Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon Dr. M. Vasanta Perera has recommended a surgery to correct the deformity. The spinal implants needed for it are estimated to cost Rs. 500,000. Payment in full has to be made to the importers before the surgery.

Priyanjala’s father H. B. Siripala says he is unable to foot this bill.

He requests philanthropists and the public to assist his daughter’s cause by sending whatever financial contributions possible to help expedite the surgery. All Contributions should be remitted to Account Number 209-130514-7 at the People’s Bank, Ahangama Branch.
