A burial ground of Tiger terrorists was found on Wednesday during a search operation conducted by the Security Forces after they captured Thoppigala. The burial ground which cover a vast area had tombs of hundreds of LTTE cadres, the Media Centre for National Security said. The names of terrorists and the year in which they died were written in a monument in memory of the dead cadres had also been built. The Tigers had spread the falsehood that the number of cadres who died was insignificant. But the cemetery which the LTTE had built with hundred of tombs proved that their propaganda was false. The tombs belonged not only to LTTE cadres killed recently but also those killed several years ago, the MCNS release said.
