Thurstan - Royal clash today

RUGBY: Thurstan College and Royal College will clash in their Singer under-20 schools league rugby tournament match at CR & FC ground, Longdon Place today. The kick off is scheduled for 4.30 p.m.

This is the second appearance for both sides this season.

Earlier, Thurstan beat Ananda 20-15 in their opening game of the season while Wesley lost to Royal 35-12 in Royal’s first game.

Thurstanites will be led by Sasanka Ariyarathne while Malin Abeyrathne will be the Royal skipper.

Royal team is in a strong position as they have got two Sri Lanka under-19 players doing services for them, the skipper and Bilal Hasan.
