HNB Pathum Udanaya 2007 launched
PRIZE SCHEME:Sri Lankans earning abroad, as well as locals saving in
foreign currency, can look forward to some amazing surprises this year,
if their investment partner back home is Hatton National Bank.
Back after two years, HNB has once again launched Pathum Udanaya, its
unique prize scheme that’s exclusively for customers saving in NRFC/RFC
Savings Accounts, NRFC/RFC Fixed Deposits and the Singithi Surakum Minor
Foreign Currency Savings Account.
Two draws, one for those saving in big-scale and the other for
smaller-scale savings, will give away some world-class prizes amounting
to 30 million Rs. The 2007 Pathum Udanaya draw is scheduled to be held
at the end of the year.
“The draws are held periodically, with the objective of encouraging
Sri Lankans working overseas to save their hard-earned money, and in
entrusting it to a bank back home, get more than the expected,” DGM,
Personal Banking and Network Management - Hatton National Bank, Chandula
Abeywickrama said.
“What’s more it makes saving exciting as well, when the account
holders know that their chances of winning are high, with so many prizes
and multiple chances of winning.
The scheme chiefly targets those living in the Middle-East and
European countries. All they have to do is maintain the required minimum
balances to be eligible to win the unique prizes that we have in store
for them.”
The prizes amounting to over Rs. 30 million will be given through two
draws namely the Super draw and the Grand draw under the HNB Pathum
Udanaya 2007 promotional scheme.
Customers who maintain US $ 10,000 and above in a NRFC Savings or
fixed deposit account or US $ 15,000 and above in a RFC Savings or fixed
deposit account will qualify for the Super Draw.
And they stand the chance of winning a luxury apartment valued at Rs.
13 million rupees, 5 prizes of Nile Cruise for two( or a cash prize of
Rs 400,000/-), 10 prizes of a Singapore shopping spree worth Rs
150,000/- (or cash) and 200 consolation prizes of 1 sovereign gold
coins.
Customers who maintain US $ 1,000 and above in a NRFC savings account
or US $ 1,500 in a RFC savings account or US $ 3,000 in NRFC or RFC
fixed deposit will qualify for the Grand draw. And they stand the chance
of winning a kilo of gold, cash prizes of Rs 250,000/- and Rs 100,000/-
and 100 consolation prizes of 1/2 sovereign gold coins.
