President orders facilities for Nilmini’s speedy recovery

RAGAMA: President Mahinda Rajapaksa who inquired into the condition of film and teledrama actress Nilmini Tennakoon yesterday ordered health authorities to facilitate with all requirements for the speedy recovery of the actress receiving treatment at the Colombo North Hospital, Ragama.

Tennakoon was injured in a motor accident on March 14 and was rushed to the hospital. Teaching Hospital Director Dr. M. Rajamanthri said the victim’s liver was seriously damaged. She is receiving treatment at the ICU.

The actress was returning home after completing of a shooting assignment. The accident had occurred near Belummahara on the Colombo-Kandy road.
