New Express Centre reinforces DHL's market leadership
Relocation: DHL, the world's express and logistics company, has
relocated its Express Centre from No. 130, Glennie Street, Colombo 02 to
No. 148, Vauxhall Street, Colombo 02.
The new Express Centre features cutting-edge technology, such as
track-and-trace terminals where customers can track their own shipments,
and offers a range of products and services including Jumbo Box and
Express Pallet targeted at retail customers.
Martin Dudek, Country Manager, DHL Express Sri Lanka said, "This
investment aims to capture the strong anticipated growth in Sri Lanka.
It also highlights DHL's confidence in the market, which has recorded
double-digit growth in the last couple of years.
Sri Lanka is an important market for us, where we have been enjoying
market dominance. This new Express Centre will enable us to continue to
provide our customers with safe and reliable products and services, as
well as expand our operational capacity:".
During the last four years, DHL has made significant investments
towards the development of network infrastructure in Sri Lanka, and now
has seven Express Centres across the country.
