Sri Lanka school athletes for Chennai meet

ATHLETICS: Ceylonese Track and Field Club affiliated to the Athletic Association of Sri Lanka announced that all arrangements have been made to hold an athletic meet at Javaharlal Nehru Stadium in Chennai, India on 21st and 22nd of November 2006.

Sri Lankan school athletes are being selected for this athletic meet based on the performances shown at the athletic meet held in Colombo recently. It is necessary to bear Rs. 30000.00 per competitor as expenses for up and down air tickets, accommodation, food and transport, says the secretary of the CT and FC in a letter to the School Heads.
