Akshan Jirasinha, the 17 year old talented
yachtsman displayed much potential as an up and coming sailor, when
on the Negombo seas in the postponed 2005 World's 'Enterprise'
Sailing Championship held in February this year - sailed away to be
right on top, to become the world's, 'Enterprise' Youth Sailing
Champion.

CR and FC clinch Singer Trophy
CR and FC 'A' carried away the Singer
Professional Sevens trophy in grand style by beating the formidable
Sri Lanka Air Force by 34 points to 29, while the CR and FC 'B' took
the plate trophy by beating the vastly improved Galle RFC by 19
points to 7 at the newly renovated Ratgama sports grounds in front
of a large gathering on Sunday.
