Security Forces prevent mob from storming checkpoint

One civilian was killed and nearly 10 people including three Police officers and five soldiers injured as Police and Security Forces tried to prevent an unruly mob from storming a checkpoint at Shanthiveli on the Polonnaruwa Batticaloa road yesterday morning, Police and Military sources said.
