Prabha-Karuna rift must not hinder peace process - Vasu

Making business out of the conflict between LTTE Supremo Prabhakaran and the Eastern LTTE Chief Karuna is not true democracy. It has to be settled through democratic means.

The Democratic Left Front believes that solutions through violence is detrimental to the democratic freedom, stated DLF Secretary Vasudeva Nanayakkara in a press release yesterday. Prabha-Karuna rift must not hinder the peace process.

Taking advantage of this situation is the culture of the ravaged racist and is unbecoming of a responsible civilized organization.

DLF believes in tolerance of rival views and settlement of disputes by negotiation through the democratic process, the press release stated.
