Remember little Anuque? Help save his life While gratefully thanking the generous philanthropists and the public for the quick, spontaneous response to our last appeal, Anuque's parents wish to inform all concerned that Anuque has been warded at Princess Margaret Hospital for children, Perth, Australia and is under the medical care of Professor James Price, Consultant Oncologist, Anuque has been diagnosed as having 'Neuroblastoma' necessitating chemotherapy and bone-marrow transplant. According to 'Princes Margaret Hospital' medical authorities, the duration of Anuque's treatment will be one year and the estimated cost is approximately Aust. $ 120,000 (SL Rs. 9 million). Anuque's parents and family members, therefore, appeal once more to philanthropists and the public to help save little Anuque's life by sending whatever financial assistance possible. Seeks help for heart surgery Mrs. Chandralatha Jayalath, a mother of two of Pambe, Paiyagala in the Kalutara district is suffering from a severe heart disease. The doctors who treated her have recommended urgent heart surgery to save her life. The operation will cost Rs. 465,000. The family says they are unable to foot this bill and seeks the generous assistance from kind donors.
