Soft Skills Development program for Dialog scholars Dialog GSM, in its pursuit of fostering academic excellence and nurturing future leaders, has introduced a Soft Skill Development Program for Dialog Technology Scholars from different Universities. Dialog GSM launched this program with the aim of providing a platform on which the scholars can grow into well-rounded corporate citizens of the future, Mothilal de Silva, General Manager - Corporate Planning said. Dialog GSM's partner in the undergraduate soft skills development program is third Wave Consulting (Pvt) Ltd., a premier consulting and training company in Sri Lanka. A program aimed at developing the scholars' lateral thinking has already commenced and Dialog GSM also conducted a two - day interactive training program at the Berjaya Mount Royal Hotel in Mt. Lavinia recently for the "whiz-kids", which exposed them to areas such as leadership, time management, communication, interpersonal skills and organisational savvy. Several other programs aimed at developing the soft skills of the undergraduates are also in the pipeline. The Dialog Technology Scholars program sponsors the best Advanced Level and Ordinary Level performers in each of the 25 districts in the island who wish to continue their education in the Engineering stream. |
