failed to come any closer to peace and end the war which had dragged on
for over two decades, a few others and myself including Professor G.L.
Peiris had to leave the then Government and help the formation of a new
Government, observed Fishery and Ocean Resources Minister Mahinda
Wijesekera, when he addressed the 7th day exhibition of the Techno Lanka
Science and Technology Exhibition at the Getambe Stadium, last Friday.
