Explaining the stand of the government on removing the ban, the Prime Minister said adherence to the conditions of the Ceasefire Agreement would also be taken into consideration. The organising of protest rallies for minor incidents in the North East could disrupt the peace process, the Prime Minister pointed out. However, if the LTTE could show more flexibility in this type of situation it will strengthen the peace process. |
