Ranil has the blessings of Prabhakaran to roam freely - Maithripala Sirisena

President Chandrika Bandaranaike Kumaratunga is in Prabhakaran's hit list as his arch enemy and therefore she is unable to move about among the people freely. UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe is blessed with Prabhakaran's friendship to roam about among the people in buses.

It is the LTTE terrorists who assassinated the patriotic late Ven Dimbulagala Nayaka Thera and confined the Dimbulagala farmers to bunkers, leaving aside their useful livelihood of tilling the soil for the common good. It is to this type of terrorists that the UNP is going to hand over an interim administration of the North and East, with the support of business racketeers and the discarded PA refuse, said the SLFP General Secretary and Mahaweli Development and Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Maithripala Sirisena, addressing the PA Election Rallies held at Dimbulagala and Onegama in Polonnaruwa recently.

The Minister urged the people to defeat this shameful efforts of the UNP for the 12th time and vote for the PA government which provided infrastructure facilities costing 1120 million rupees, such as roads and highways, electricity, houses, educational and health facilities for the welfare of the Mahaweli "B" zone people.

Western Provincial Member, Renuka Perera, in his address stated that today the crying aspiration of the women folk is not an opportunity to leave behind their clothes in the line and sojourn or to sport their jewellery by night but an era of peace to share a humble meal of rice with their beloved sons, daughters and husbands.
