Deskpro SB 3000 series launched

Compaq Computer Asia launched the new Deskpro SB 3000 series powered by Intel 1.5 GHz Pentium 4 processors. Featuring the fastest performing and latest processor technology available, the new Deskpro SB 3000 series delivers fast, reliable computing solutions at cost-effective prices to business customers, the company said in a statement.

Pre-installed with Microsoft Windows 98, Windows 2000 (Windows XP Home and Pro-when available), the new systems are also DMI 2.0 compliant and emphasize expandability through three PCI slots and six Drive-bays. Any deskpro SB purchased will include a warranty of three-year parts support, one-year labour and one-year onsite support.

"Compaq's commitment to product innovation with a focus towards satisfying the business computing needs of our customers has led us to develop the deskpro SB. The product continues to address the specific requirements of the small and medium businesses, " said Steven Kim, Business Manager, Access Business Group, Compaq Computer South Asia.
