Ananda rout St.Sebastian’s
A magnificent bowling performance by Ananda helped them to register a
69 run win over against St.Sebastian's College Moratuwa in their
inter-schools under 15 division one tournament match played at Ananda
College Grounds recently.
Batting first Ananda College scored modest 147 runs in 48.3 overs
with Sammu Ashan top scoring with 31 runs while Prabath Hansamal and
Dushan Hettige contributing 21 each. And Nipun Chamika chipped in with
20 runs. Tharusha Fernando picked up three wickets and Vimukthi de Mel
and Prasen Fernando captured two wickets apiece.
St.Sebastian's College collapsed to pathetic 78 runs in just 32.1
overs. Pubuditha Gimhan wrecked the Sebastian batting line up taking
four wickets for 27.
