Sandakelum - most outstanding under 17 athlete of Kalutara

P A Hashan Sandakelum of Nagoda Maha Vidyalaya, Kalutara has emerged the most outstanding athletic for 2013, under the age category of under 17, at the Kalutara Divisional Level Sports meet held at the Holy Cross College playground, Kalutara recently. Hashan Sandakelum's Physical Training Instructor (PTI) Mrs L S Rajakaruna told 'Daily News' that her pupil who is very keen on sports and athletics, has been selected to take part in Western Province which Inter-Schools athletics competition will be held on July 9, 10 and 11 at the Homagama Diyagama Stadium.

Hashan has been victorious at Marathon races and 1500m races as well.

Hashan, a very prominent and enthusiastic sports fan at Nagoda MV, Kalutara is a notable student who excels in academic work as well.
