Joseph Vaz College Wennappuwa beat Sandalankawa Central College by 196 runs in their inter-school under 15 division one tournament cricket match played at Wennappuwa. Vazians batting initially piled up 292 for 7 in their alloted overs with Shehara Ranatunge 68 and George Priyashantha unbeated on 78 B. R. Perera took 3 for 49 for the visitors. In reply Sandalankawa College were skittled out for a paltry 96 runs with Shane Kanishka claiming 4 for 24 and C. B. Chaturanga scored 55 runs for the losers.
