Royal Juniors win by 90 runs

Fine performances by Nadula Viranga(four for 19) and Tharanga Ranmuthu(46) helped Royal College Colombo to outplay Asoka Vidyalaya Colombo by 90 runs in their inter-schools under 15 division three match played at Royal College Junior Grounds recently.

Batting first, Asoka Vidyalaya Colombo were skittled out for paltry 65 in 29.3 overs. Nadula Viranga captured 4 for 19.

In reply, Royal scored 155 runs in 32.4 overs with the help of fine batting Tharanga Ranmuthu(46) and Vinod Lakshan (34). Saheer Abbas (2 for 25) and Mithila Imalsha (2 for 43) impressed in bowling.
