Trishaw kills lottery seller
CHAMIKARA WEERASINGHE
A lottery seller on bicycle died yesterday morning when a three
wheeler hit him at Raigama junction on the Panadura-Ratnapura highway.
The bicyclist was heading towards Bandaragama.
Police identified the victim as H D Jagath Kumara, 48, a resident of
the Raigama area, Bandaragama.
Police arrested the three wheeler driver. It is alleged that the
suspect headed his vehicle towards the victim's bicycle purposely.
The suspect tried to drive away from the scene. |
