Matthew, Machiko to swim in Incheon

Sri Lanka's two freestyle record holders Matthew Abeysinghe and Machiko Raheem left the country last night to participate in the Fourth Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games to be held from June 29 to July 6 in Incheon, South Korea.

The two students of the Asian International School and trained at Killer Whale Aquatics will compete in short course swimming from June 30 to July 3 in Dowon Aquatics Centre. Seventeen-year-old Abeysinghe will compete in 100m freestyle, 200m freestyle, 100m butterfly and 200m Individual Medley while Raheem will participate in 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle, 200m freestyle and 200m Individual Medley.
